// teamhud vs google meetno link for the quick stuff.
We run our email and calendar on Google, and Meet is the easiest meeting there is: click the link in the invite and you're in. teamhud is for the talks that never needed an invite in the first place.

// where teamhud fits
keep meet on the calendar. talk the rest of the time.
Meet is built around the scheduled meeting. teamhud gives the quick talk a home: a tiny surface over whatever you're in, where push to talk and a hover replace the invite and the tab. We've started taking some client meetings in teamhud too: clients join from a browser, no account.

// questions
teamhud and google meet.
Is teamhud a Google Meet alternative?
For your team's everyday talks, yes: the room is always open, so there's nothing to schedule. Guests join a teamhud meeting from their browser too, no account needed; we've moved some of our own client meetings over. For meetings that live on everyone's Google Calendar, Meet is still the natural fit, we still use it, and teamhud mutes itself while you're on a Meet.
Can people without teamhud join?
Yes. Invite anyone to a meeting and they join from their browser: no download, no account. Your team uses the desktop app for Mac (Apple Silicon), Windows and Linux; mobile is coming.
Is teamhud free?
During early access, yes: every feature, free to use, no credit card, while slots last. It's an early-access release, so things will change. When early access ends, your account stays on a free tier, and the full release sets the prices for paid plans.
